What is Audio Description (AD)? It’s a service that renders visual information into vivid descriptive spoken language for individuals who are blind or have low vision, providing them with an experience as comparable as possible to that of their sighted peers. Professional audio describers provide AD for a variety of visual media: feature films, documentaries, educational videos, TV shows, and streaming content like Netflix and Amazon. AD can also be supplied for live events such as theater productions as well as virtual events.
I have completed professional training to write audio description for the screen and have written AD for films and series. I am fluent in both English and German.
